In Allah we trust-sorry if it sounds too clichéd.

A Little Bit About Me
This part is hard to describe. I consider myself an individual who really wants to strive to learn more about Islam with my future partner and make a difference in this life while maintaining a family life. (I believe in work/life balance) I appreciate both western and my cultural (desi) values - I like to take the best of both worlds. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
Even now, I still don't feel like this fully describes me, so I guess I will update it as I go.

What I Am Looking For
I am basically looking for a decent, normal individual who understands that this life is temporary and wants to make the most out of it while keeping a clean conscience before leaving this world - I hope that didn't sound too crazy, but more deep. I look at marriage as being with someone in this life and in the next. Someone whose family is very welcoming. Someone who is balanced both religiously/spiritually and with modern day society. I recently started exercising and would like to maintain a healthy lifestyle so it would be great to know someone who is on the same page - so that we could enjoy it together and motivate/help each other out. It would also be nice to be with someone who likes trying new things (covering a variety of topics - but I'm trying to keep this brief and just summarize instead, here).

The more deep we try to understand this life, the more complex it gets and the more our questions remain unanswered. Don't know why I am putting this here but it was a comment I thought would add so you could get an idea of my perspective.

On a more serious/practical note, someone who isn't afraid to kill/flush spiders (I know it's mean, but they are scary, maybe saying bismillah before would make us feel better), and someone who can open jars.

On another note, I came across a message button, and it said the following: "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you realize they're all frogs." Thought it was hilarious. Of course, taken literally it's haraam, but the overall analogy was really funny. May we all be blessed/granted with non-frogs, insha'Allah, Ameen.

Okay, I guess that's it for now.
